Somethings from my closet. . .

  • Blazer: Woolworth's
  • Top: Legend Makro
  • Scarf: Mr.Price
  • Jeans: Edgars
  • Brogue's: Legend Makro
  • Bag: Vintage
Today i decide i wanted to dress like a girl walking the streets of New York.
By mixing sophistication with street style. I felt really great having worn this
outfit as i stepped out of my element of the normal usual fall/ winter
apparel. The brogue's were adorable, had to purchase them and from Makro even.

Now tell me that they don't look cute

Had to take a picture of the buttons on the blazer. They look so
beautiful and gave the blazer a classical look

ABSOLUTELY LOVE these combat boots i bought from Edgars. The buckle
really gives it a masculine feel to them. Feel very powerful wearing them hahaha

Such a cute bag from Mr. Price to complete the outfit

Outfit put together

  • Jersey: Edgars
  • Denim Shorts: Edgars
  • Stockings: Edgars
  • Top: Legend Makro
Decided to wear this outfit to a friends farewell. We went to a place in
Greenside called Fratellis. Very cool chilled environment. We had fun
that night Didn't want to dress up but wanted to look cool/casual and chic.

  • Leather Jacket: Woolworth's
  • Jersey: Mr. Price
  • Denim Shorts: Edgars
  • Stockings: Edgars
  • Boots: Edgars
Wore this out fit when i was going to the movies. Something casual but still stylish.
Love the jersey. Its very warm and looks so great. Stripes are definitely in this season.
And i love how its not the typical sailor colours.

The leather jacket

In love with this jersey

On the right shoulder, the buttons added look stunning.

These are the earrings i wore with the outfit

This cardigan jersey is a warm piece that i have also fallen in love with.
This design is popular in winter.Decided to wear this to school as it
was nothing too fancy but very nice as well.

These boots which i bought from Mr.Price is what i wore with the outfit.
Love these ankle boots. One of the most popular to have come
out of the Mr. Price stores

  • Leather Jacket: Woolworth's
  • Dress: YDE
  • Stockings: Woolworth's
  • Brogues: Mr. Price
This day, i was in a very good mood and felt like dressing up. This was still taken in autumn when it was sooo freezing. So i loved how i mixed winter apparel with summer apparel. I was comfortable, not too hot and felt great

Leigh Schubert SA Fashion Week 2011 S/S

alt
Leigh Schubert

It is day 3 of SA fashion week. I am anticipating the long awaited show of one of my favourite South African fashion designers. Leigh Schubert. Not many people know that she was the   first South African designer to show at Rosemount Australian  fashion Week in 2009 and was invited to show again in 2010.  Her Australian experience is evident in her collection as she opted for  sheer, delicate classical pieces and hues of brown, almond and grey the more earthy tone colours. She is a remarkable women and a risk taker as she incorporates soft textiles and delicate pieces that enhance the women's figures. Her ready-to-wear collection was on point and something every women can wear. The accessories she used for the show were also beautiful  and delicate. Like these beautiful shoes. The earthy tones follow throughout the outfit. the floral and ruffles also gave the collection a romanticism effect.

So today was my make-up practical at LISOF. Must say was pretty nervous, but I think I did better than I thought. What do you guys think?

Boo-TiFuL People*

Hello Boo-TiFuL People :)

My name is Busisiwe Nkwanyana, called Busi, Boo, Bee or Boos for short. I am currently studying a BA in Fashion at the best fashion school in South Africa, LISOF. LISOF is a beautiful school in Rosebank filled with a variety of fashionista's - all unique and stylish. The school itself is wonderful and helping me get closer to my dream*.

My love for fashion is something that is NOT deprived from watching television shows such as  "Project Runway", "The Hills", "Ugly Betty" and the famous movie " The Devil Wears Prada". Yes, all of these did in a sense help give me an insight as to what actually happens in the fashion industry and the various jobs avalible in it. But i can promise you it all came to me when I was a little girl watching my grandmother (who was a dressmaker) design and make clothes for my family members and fix our garments. Her love and passion for the craft inspired me to  become interested in clothing. Since then i have taken art lessons in drawing, started a HUGE magazine collection and a little shopping addiction (Giggle).

This blog is not only a reflection of ME*, MYSELF* and I*. But also a Boo-TiFuL outlook on all things that interest me. Such as fashion*, television*, music* and books*. Hope you all enjoy it :)
