Africa Unite

So today, was reading one of my favourite celebrity gossip magazines. And came across this article of South African singer Lira being featured in L'uomo Vouge. The Italian Vogue's May issue is dedicated to 'rebranding Africa' with Ban Ki-moon,the secretary general of the UN on the cover.

Rebranding Africa to them stated from the Gurdian is:

"Africa is a land with a myriad of resources and unexpected opportunities; above all it is a young continent with a huge desire for self-affirmation and for men and women to be guaranteed the same measure of dignity. It is a 'continent in progress', a land in constant evolution, with an ongoing commitment to offering its people better living conditions," the editorial team at the Italian men's branch of Vogue explain in a press release. It continues: "Africa needs to recreate an image for itself that moves away from the picture of war and famine habitually presented to us by the media. And indeed there is a positive side to the continent, one where there are textile companies, oil deposits and modern cities rising up in countries we are as yet unfamiliar with; huge steps forward have been taken in the field of education, which have led to the building of primary schools, high schools and universities."

Lira looks stunning in the issue, representing South Africa and Africa as a whole. She is also a multi-platinum South African singer. Cant wait to read this issue and be blown away.

Who wore it better?

So this two Hollywood starlets not only have one thing in common. Dating successful musicians, but they also have similar taste in fashion as well. So here we go again at another game of...wait for it. Who wore it better? Kim Kardashian, wore an Emilo Pucci black mesh dress to the Cannes this year. And guess what, Joan Rivers would love this insert of B#*CH!! Stole my look, as it seems Gwyneth Paltrow wore the same outfit to the Emmy's last year. Who do you think wore it better? I say Kim, because her olive skin and dark hair compliment the dress better than Gwyneth. Kim also fills it out more and she really does look like Princess Jasmine. What you guys think?

This is my 'MOTTO' for the year. To just be happy and not sweat the small stuff. Last year, was an amazing year, as i can honestly say i learnt alot. Hard even. From school, to apprciating family and friends and of course boys. wasnt easy, but glad that it has made me a better, wiser and even more loving person. So cheers to the rest of the six months of this year. as Rihanna said in her song cheers, "Dont let the bastards bring you done" :)

Who wore it better?

Both of these beautiful ladies stepped out wearing the same dress by my favourite label Lanvin. The dress is an ivory, black and nude design with a crystal snake that wraps around the neck.

I personally think they both look amazing for they are dressing it differently. But if i had to vote, it would have to be...Emma Stone. What you guys think? Who wore it better?

Yes, i will admit. I am a KARDASHIAN fan. Who isn't? Cant wait for the new season to start as we will be able to get an inside into Kim's flower bomb incident, Americas favourite basketball couple Khloe and Lamar and into Kourtney and Scott's relationship. Cant wait!!!

New Face of Dior

 Mila Kunis, the gorgeous actress from blockbuster movies such as Black Swan and Friends With Benefits. Is named the new face of Dior, according to WWD. She will be the face of the company's upcoming spring 2012 campaign shot by photographer Mikael Jansson. Congrats!! She will be joining South African Oscar winner Charlize Theron as an ambassador.
